Coasters (set of 4) - Saint-Jacques

Malakio is the story of two Breton childhood friends in search of meaning and innovation united around a common project: accelerating the environmental transition of design by recycling shellfish waste.

They work directly with local producers and restaurateurs from whom they collect shellfish waste and make a new rigid, ethical and sustainable composite based on recycled shellfish.

The coasters are sold in sets of 4. Different colors are available.

• Dimensions: D 10cm
• Materials: Recycled shellfish (oysters, scallops, mussels). French mineral binder (rigid, durable and solvent-free)
• Additional info: Several finishes available. More than 60% recycled shells. A local and renewable raw material. Heat resistant and flame retardant. No-cook manufacturing process
• Be careful, the mineral binder used does not like water in large quantities (do not soak in water, do not put in the dishwasher)

All the creations offered on our site come from craftsmanship. There may therefore be slight variations in color, shape, dimension, thickness... This is, at the same time, what makes each piece unique!
